Angry Birds Friends Roadmap: What’s Hatching?!
Welcome to What’s Hatching?! Here you’ll find what the flock’s been working on, what’s in the slingshot, and some surprises still under the feathers. This is our way of keeping you in the loop with no fluff, just the good stuff.

| 🥚 Splash | Squeezing every drop out of summer. |

| 💦 Dive Against Swine | Coral reefs and Hawksbill turtles are under threat from the reckless rise of swine-like invaders. Dive into the deep blue between June 4 and June 11. |
| ✨ Power-up bar Relocation | We heard you, and are looking for a new location for the Power-up bar so it no longer clashes with your slingshot targeting or hides any level structures. This quality of life update has now been released for public testing. |
| ✨ Co-created tournament | Thank you for all the dozens of Level Editor towers you shared by the end of 2025. Great material for a new tournament with a date to be announced later! Oh, and here’s a quote from our team: Wow! amazing designs 🔥💕 |
| ✨ Do Not Press 2.0 | The blinking switches are part of the core gameplay and often lead to fun chain reactions and destructive animations. You mentioned it can be a challenge to spot all the switches, so we started working on all-new blinking buttons. They’re big, bright, and come in fancy colors! |
| ✨ Construction Site Signs | In all the PIG chaos, Foreman Pig (the mustache snout) is adding informative construction site signs so the pigs wouldn’t flip the wrong switch. We have a hunch this’ll help the birds way more than the pigs! |
| 💦 Google Play Update | We’re setting up a new way to sign in, save progress across devices, and gather Achievements for Android players! |
| 💦 Ad Video Experience | Ad videos that are difficult to close or risk freezing the game during gameplay have been a cause of frustration. We’re tackling ad videos on multiple fronts, and players will see the in-level ads being turned on and off. |
| 💦 Fun Factor | We’re taking extra time to work on balancing the level of challenge. Now replacing some of our special tournament themes with “fun-factored” regular tournaments. Our big goal for 2026: levels will fit the various playing styles and flinging skills out there, with a learning curve that still offers surprises and aha! moments. |
| 🥚 Top Secret | A top secret project is on the way and all we can share for now is, the birds are waiting for their moment in the spotlight. |
| 🥚 Another Top Secret | The tailwind stopped, but the pigs are still trembling. |

| New Camera | It zooms in and follows your birds in action so you never lose sight on smaller mobile screens. Switch the camera on from Settings > Gameplay > New Camera |
| Web-exclusive Bundles | Are you sitting on a tall pile of Sling Scopes but missing Wingmen? Inspired by feedback from the most experienced players, we released new custom bundles to Red’s Club Webshop where you can pick just the Power-ups you need! |
| Professor Porkscrew’s Piggy-Matic | What a swine invention! A new game mode is out now with potential for endless levels, endless fun, and endless rewards to haul before the next tournament day! |
| Bigger Mobile Birds | Bubbles, Chuck, Stella, Red, and Blues have grown in size. Gameplay stays the same, but with less squinting. Thank you for sending in your feedback; we hope this update makes it easier to tell who is who in the slingshot! |
