✨ Power-up bar Relocation
We heard you, and are looking for a new location for the Power-up bar so it no longer clashes with your slingshot targeting or hides any level structures. This quality of life update has now been released for public testing, and some of you will see the power-up bar at the bottom of the screen.

The blinking switches are part of the core gameplay and often lead to fun chain reactions and destructive animations. You mentioned it can be a challenge to spot all the switches, so we started working on all-new blinking buttons. They’re big, bright, and come in fancy colors!

New tournament has launched, and the King Pig has swapped his crown for leprechaun cosplay. Some of the most colorful levels of the year await!

We’re setting up a new way to sign in, save progress across devices, and gather Achievements for Android players!
✨ Custom Bundles
Are you sitting on a tall pile of Sling Scopes but missing Wingmen? Inspired by feedback from the most experienced players, we’re bringing in new custom bundles to Red’s Club Webshop where you can pick just the Power-ups you currently need. We’ll let you know once the bundles are ready.
💦 Ad Video Experience
Ad videos that are difficult to close or risk freezing the game during gameplay have been a cause of frustration. We’re tackling ad videos on multiple fronts to optimize their performance, and players will see the in-level ads being turned on and off. Even if it means less ads when playing levels, our priority is to minimize ad-related errors so no level progress is lost.
💦 Fun Factor
We’re taking extra time to work on balancing the level of challenge and star ratings, never forgetting what makes ABF special. Starting in April 2026, we’ll be replacing some of our most special tournament themes with “fun-factored” vanilla tournaments. You’ll get just as many levels as before, but the levels will be better tailored for all the various playing styles and flinging skills out there, with a learning curve that still offers surprises and aha! moments.

A top secret project is on the way and all we can share for now is, the birds are waiting for their moment in the spotlight.
What a swine invention! A new game mode is out now with potential for endless levels, endless fun, and endless rewards to haul before the next tournament day!
Bigger Mobile Birds

The pigs are at it again.
Tired of losing, Professor Porkscrew cooked up a bizarre contraption: the Piggy-Matic. A whirring, clanking, half-broken machine designed to throw endless, confusing challenges at the Birds.
At least… that was the plan. Instead of stopping the Birds, the Piggy-Matic spits out rewards whenever they win. The harder they play, the stronger they get!
“It’s bird-proof, he said. 97% success rate, he said.“
Now the Birds have flipped the script —what was meant to be their downfall has become their favorite new training ground.
So jump in, play levels, light up the Piggy-Matic’s strange board, and grab rewards the pigs definitely didn’t mean to give away.
How Does The Piggy-Matic Work?
1️⃣ Gather enough stars in the tournament to unlock the Piggy-Matic. The first level is on us!
2️⃣ Finish a level with 1-3 stars and the board will be randomly filled with as many stars as you earned.
3️⃣ Use the constantly recharging energy to launch new levels.
4️⃣ Fill rows with stars until you’ve filled the whole board, and a new bigger board appears.
Three Ways To Earn Rewards
Piggy-Matic rewards you in three different ways:
Instant Rewards: A star lands on a square with a Bird Coin icon for an instant coin reward

Roll tape… steady… steady… and where’s my megaphone?
The studio gates of Hoggywood Pictures swing open and the set looks like a VHS player stuck on fast-forward. Spotlights blaze, fog machines hiss, and somewhere a synth hero theme warms up for its big moment. You peer through the camera lens and, good gravy, the pigs have taken over the set!
They’re tearing down the place with prop popcorn flying in the air. Pigmobiles screech around corners, tires wailing louder than a bank heist gone wrong, and the birds are in hot pursuit.
“CUT?!” No, no, no. DON’T CUT! KEEP ROLLING!
Red charges in like a hard-boiled detective who’s seen one too many sequels. Chuck zooms past the camera so fast he nearly rewinds the film reel. The special effects department is waving at Bomb.
The pigs are taking their role a bit too seriously, believing they’re the true villains in the next blockbuster, pulling pranks and hiding behind cardboard buildings. Cue the music! Cue the slow-motion fling! Cue the heroic pose!

All we need now… is a leading bird to deliver a shot so perfect it deserves its own movie poster!
Festive lanterns drifting through the sky, carrying wishes for good fortune, steady aim, and fewer pig-related incidents. Red was just explaining how fortune favors the bold when a glowing lantern thudded to the ground at his feet. Attached to it was a note, written in unmistakably greedy handwriting:
“I wish for ALL the luck. Not shared. ALL of it.”
Red didn’t even have time to sigh before the wish was being answered. Explosions of flashy gunpowder rolled in from a sea of smoke, led by the pigs’ latest invention: a colossal, wooden horse charging towards. Fortune favors attention, the pigs sang in unison as they approached the shores of Bird Island.
“Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth!” Red shouted, then gave his trademark eyebrow. “Actually… do. And light up more lanterns. Call for backup!”
Answer the birds’ call and don’t let the pigs hog all the luck.

Lunar Luck Tournament is live from 12th to 19th of February 2026
Feathers and fans, welcome to the boldest, fastest, most claw-biting showdown of the season! The snow is fresh, the course is iced to perfection, and the mountain is alive as the Winter Snorts Tournament officially kicks off!
Red is already on the slope, leaning hard into the descent, claws digging in. LOOK AT THAT FORM! Clean lines, tight turns, pure focus. He’s carving through powder like a pro, but hold on… the pigs are flooding the course! An all-out downhill brawl, and the pigs are blocking every lane, snorts echoing off the walls!
Red dodges left, no, right! A split-second reaction keeps him upright as a pig wipes out behind him. SNOORT! The crowd goes WIIILD! Snow sprays into the air as Red pushes for speed, eyes locked on the finish line.
WAIT! WHAT’S THIS?!
HAL IS COMING IN HOT! Launching from the snowbank with UNREAL AIRTIME, spinning through the air like a freestyle legend. He’s lining it up, angle looks risky, release… AND THERE IT IS! A perfect boomerang arc, slicing through the chaos and clearing Red’s path in one stunning move!
This is teamwork at championship level. The competition is fierce, and every level is packed with speed, skill, and split-second decisions.

Winter. What a perfect excuse to play more.
The world outside might be wrapped in ice, but things are heating up on Bird Island. Snowy days are perfect for lining up shots, launching birds, and sending pigs flying. No mittens required!
An extra pig in blanket. An extra marshmallow in your cocoa. And this mid-winter, not-just-a-little extra something in Angry Birds Friends too.

In an alternate universe, past sensible engineering, the pigs built the future. A future of thingamabobs, whatchamacallits, and other doohickeys.

That’s when the Angry Birds arrived. Drawn through the rift by a familiar signal of stolen eggs pinging across dimensions. The flock launched a rescue mission aimed at knocking another PIG delusion out of the orbit.

Ready to PIG-ture a New Year? As we oink out the old and wing in the new, it’s time to celebrate everything we shared in 2025!
First, a huge thank you to all our Friends. We kicked things off with Extreme Snowboars, rolled into Red’s Awards, relaxed at a spring Pignic, found our Peace of Flock, braved the spooky Poultrygeist, and even knocked around some Angry 8 Ball Pool. Creating these and more tournaments was a joy for us, and we hope playing them was just as fun!
Our weekly changing tournaments were only part of the flockventure. We prepared for the global launch of Angry Birds Friends WEB, and delivered true fan service with the Level Editor and tournament co-creation event. An instant fan-favorite game mode, Piggy-Matic, is still being tested, along with Quality of Life updates, all shaped by your feedback and care for the game.
We also introduced a 4th tournament day each week, a higher Power Potion limit, and a supercharged Boombox + Power Potion combo.
Our player community shared over two years’ worth of special tournament themes, slingshot concepts, and wonderfully wild PIG ideas. We can’t use everything, but your creativity continues to pave the road ahead.
As we fly into Twenty Twenty-Pigs, we’re excited to bring you even more ways to play, create, and shape the future of Angry Birds Friends. Here’s to another year of flinging, pig-popping, and partying together!
